Now, recall Glaucon and Adeimantus’s challenge, which was to prove that justice is inherently choice-worthy regardless of any consequence, whether good or ill, attached to it. In other words, the goal of the investigation is to show how justice, this right ordering of the soul, is inherently good and choice worthy. How does Socrates do this?
