When looking through Locke you should pay attention to find his new view of how and what nature is. Both Aristotle and Plato, the ancients, saw politics as natural and leading human beings toward their perfection. Locke begins with a state of nature, but it is different from that of Aristotle. It is connected to scientific experimentation and taking the efficient cause as the dominant cause.
